# Basic Requirements for Forklifts

1. Applicants for the forklift special equipment operator certificate must be at least 18 years old; 2. Be in good health and meet the special physical requirements for the type of forklift operation applied for; 3. Have an educational level appropriate to the type of special equipment operation for which the forklift license is applied; 4. Have work experience appropriate to the type of special equipment operation for which the forklift license is applied; 5. Possess the corresponding safety technical knowledge and skills for forklift special equipment operators; 6. Comply with other requirements specified in the Safety Technical Specifications for Special Equipment Operators with Forklift Licenses. Specific conditions shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant safety technical specifications. To apply for the Special Equipment Operator Certificate, one shall first register for an examination with the special equipment operator examination institution, and the Special Equipment Operator Certificate shall be issued after passing the examination.
