Introduction to Rough Terrain Forklifts

Four-Wheel Drive Rough Terrain Forklift is a special forklift mainly used in harsh outdoor working conditions such as ports, swamps, forest lands, construction sites, and mines. The rough terrain forklift features excellent power, off-road performance, and adaptability. The four-wheel drive off-road forklift independently developed by our company has a rated load capacity of 3.5 tons. The four-wheel drive rough terrain forklift adopts a torque converter hydraulic gearbox with both forward and reverse gears, enabling not only rapid transition during fast travel on rough terrain but also slow, controlled passage during cargo handling. The power output shafts at the front and rear of the gearbox are connected to the off-road drive axle and steering axle via universal joints. In addition, the four-wheel drive function of the 3.5-ton rough terrain forklift is on-demand four-wheel drive, controlled by a solenoid valve mounted on the gearbox. A differential lock is installed between the drive axle and steering axle of the 3.5-ton four-wheel off-road forklift to prevent tire slippage on muddy ground, greatly enhancing the climbing performance of the rough terrain forklift. The 3.5-ton rough terrain forklift can easily climb slopes of 45% to 50% at full load. The overall design of the rough terrain forklift features high ground clearance, with "herringbone" pattern large-tread tires on both front and rear wheels. These special configurations deliver outstanding off-road performance, power, passability, and adaptability for the 3.5-ton rough terrain forklift. The 3.5-ton four-wheel drive rough terrain forklift has a compact, stable, and aesthetically pleasing appearance. The width of the rough terrain forklift does not exceed 1.6 meters, and the overall vehicle length (excluding forks) is 3.21 meters, resulting in a small turning radius and narrow required aisle width, making it agile and flexible, suitable for harsh outdoor environments. The gantry lifting system of the 3.5-ton four-wheel drive rough terrain forklift features a forward tilt angle of up to 8 degrees and a backward tilt angle of up to 12 degrees, providing strong digging force.
