# Functions and Working Principles of Tractors

The main function of a tractor is to provide power support for agricultural production, completing tasks such as plowing, sowing, and transportation by towing and driving various agricultural implements. Its working principle is as follows: power is generated by the engine, transmitted to the drive wheels through the transmission system, and then the operation of agricultural implements is controlled through the hydraulic system. Core Functions - Towing matching agricultural implements: It can tow agricultural machinery such as seeders and harvesters to achieve automated planting, harvesting, and other operations. - Short-distance transportation: Used to transport crops or agricultural supplies, improving production efficiency. - Plowing and loosening soil: The soil is turned over by plows to create conditions for sowing. Working Principle - Power system: The diesel engine generates rotational power by burning fuel, which is transmitted to the drive wheels through transmission devices such as the clutch and gearbox. - Traveling system: The final drive performs secondary speed reduction and torque increase to drive the rear wheels (generating traction), while the front wheels are responsible for steering. - Hydraulic system: Controls the lifting and lowering of agricultural implements and steering to achieve precise operations.
