Regular Maintenance of Rough Terrain Forklifts

1. Check the oil level near the top of the fuel tank (oil tank). For a new off-road forklift or diesel engine, after filling with oil, it should run at low speed for 5–10 minutes, and then the oil level should be measured. 2. Check the water in the water tank. 3. Check the oil level of the fuel injection pump; if insufficient, add oil to the specified position. 4. Eliminate three types of leaks (oil, water, air). 5. Check the tightness of all components and accessories. 6. Check the cleanliness, remove oil stains and dust, and pay special attention to keeping electrical equipment dry and clean. 7. After a new vehicle has been running under light load for 50 hours, the first maintenance should be carried out promptly: replace the oil in the fuel injection pump, clean the oil filter assembly, and clean the oil sump and oil filter. 8. Add daily lubricating oil (additives) promptly.
