The first truly driverless tractor

On the afternoon of October 26, 2016, the new implement demonstration event of the 2016 China International Agricultural Machinery Exhibition kicked off with YTO's release of the first truly driverless tractor, causing a sensation in the industry. YTO's First Driverless Tractor The product released by YTO this time was the Changjian LF954-C, equipped with a National III engine, a power shuttle transmission, an electronically controlled suspension system, and a series of information and control systems. During the demonstration, the Changjian LF954-C tractor, fitted with a Changjian 1LF-430 hydraulic turnover plow, carried out field operation demonstrations. In recent years, to save users' time, improve operational efficiency, increase operational returns, and enhance the utilization efficiency of agricultural machinery, YTO has been committed to applying artificial intelligence in the tractor sector. The driverless tractor released by YTO this time is equipped with information and control systems including an automatic steering system, a vehicle control system, radar and vision measurement systems, a remote video transmission system, a monitoring system, and a remote control system. The Changjian LF954-C tractor conducting an operation demonstration Among these, the automatic steering system enables automatic vehicle steering within designated areas; the vehicle control system achieves automatic control of engine speed, vehicle direction, braking, and electronically controlled suspension; the radar and vision measurement systems enable identification and measurement of geographic and environmental information; the remote video transmission system sends image signals captured by onboard cameras to terminals via carrier networks for display; the monitoring and display system shows vehicle working information and allows setting of vehicle operating modes; and the remote control system enables remote operation of the vehicle. It is through these information and control systems that this tractor achieves functions such as automatic path planning and navigation within designated areas, automatic direction changes, automatic braking, automatic engine speed control, automatic control of implements, active obstacle avoidance, and remote control. The Changjian LF954-C tractor applies advanced technologies such as millimeter-wave radar measurement and binocular camera vision recognition, combined with BeiDou high-precision positioning technology, making it suitable for driverless operations in farmland plowing, soil preparation, and plant protection. The Changjian 1LF-430 hydraulic turnover plow is made of high-quality materials, featuring good rigidity and light weight; it has dual-direction hydraulic turnover functionality, saving time and fuel while being highly efficient and economical; it offers three-stage width adjustment, allowing different plowing widths to be selected based on soil specific resistance; it is equipped with depth-limiting wheels to meet various plowing depth requirements; and it uses a spiral-type moldboard surface for soil turning, providing good coverage and leaving a level field surface without furrow ditches after plowing. Behind the product's "halo" lies YTO's long-term commitment to technological leadership.
