Upgraded Off-Road Forklift with Multi-Functional Applications

Recently, Changjian Rough Terrain Forklift released a new scrap baler attachment. The latest attachment will allow forklifts to handle debris and materials in demolition and recycling applications, expanding forklift versatility and adding safety and performance advantages over other material handling solutions on the market. It features an elevated lift arm design that gives operators a full forward view when lifting or transporting loads; it can also tilt down 90° for specialized lifting tasks. The forklift is powered by a 200-horsepower Cummins QSB6.7GB IV4i diesel engine, utilizing DOC and SCR aftertreatment technology, with a maximum load capacity of 20,000 pounds and a maximum lift height of 16 feet. Other features include an engine-driven fan, cooling package, and engine block heater as standard equipment. The Cary-Lift 204i offers four-wheel drive with two-wheel, four-wheel, and crab hydraulic power steering modes. With the wheelbase limited to 12 feet, the 204i achieves a turning radius of 21 feet 6 inches. Unlike forklifts with forward-extending articulated booms, the company states that the Cary-Lift's heavy-duty solid steel frame design allows it to enter sharp turns with a full load without sacrificing load capacity or stability. Hydraulic frame sway control and sideshift functions help stabilize loads on uneven terrain by leveling the lift frame. Additionally, the sway cylinders move 7° left and right from center, and dual joysticks provide intuitive control for efficient gear shifting and hydraulic system operation. The Cary-Lift 204i rough terrain forklift can be optionally equipped with a telematics system that provides real-time access to machine data.
