1. Daily maintenance: Clean dirt and mud from the forklift, fork carriage and mast slide rails, engine and starter, battery terminals, fork column, water tank, and air filter, and check the tightness of all components. Key checks: fork mast support, hoist chain tension screws, wheel screws, wheel retaining pins, brakes, and steering screws; check the reliability and flexibility of the foot brake and steering; check for leaks, focusing on: all pipe joints, diesel tank, oil tank, brake pump, cylinders, water tank, water pump, engine oil pan, torque converter, transmission, drive axle, final reducer, hydraulic steering gear, steering cylinder, and sediment in the drain filter. 2. First-level maintenance: Check and adjust valve clearance, check whether the thermostat operates normally, check whether the multi-way directional valve, lift cylinder, tilt cylinder, steering cylinder, and gear pump operate normally, and check whether the transmission shifts gears properly. Adjust the clearance between the brake pads and the brake drums of the hand and foot brakes, replace the oil in the oil pan, check whether the crankcase ventilation pipe is intact, clean the oil filter and diesel filter elements, check whether the generator and starter are securely mounted and whether the connections are clean and tight, check whether the carbon brushes and commutator are worn, check the tension of the fan belt, and check whether the wheels are securely mounted and whether the tire pressure meets requirements. 3. Shutdown maintenance: For new forklifts or forklifts that have been out of service for a long time, within two weeks after being put into use, for bearings that require lubrication, force out all old grease with new grease during lubrication, and lubricate at least twice.
