Mower attachments are very popular. Mid-mount mowers are installed on the underside of compact multi-purpose farm machines, making them suitable for properties under 5 acres, and they are also favored by landscape designers and sports field turf managers. Rear-mount mowers, on the other hand, are ideal for large open areas; they connect to the farm machine via a three-point hitch and are towed behind it while working. Under these two categories, there are both finish mowers that provide a smooth, even surface and rotary mowers used for handling heavier brush. Front and rear pallet forks are both common on ranches, as these tractors are frequently used to feed livestock. Our 40 to 70 horsepower models are fully capable of transporting large round bales on both the front and rear, making them a popular choice in this market segment. Compact tractors are highly versatile, and customers often opt for rear-mounted grading blades, scrapers, box blades, or landscape rakes as add-ons—all of which can be installed at the rear of the machine. Likewise, the three-point hitch and power take-off are commonly used to connect rotary mowers for trimming pastures or rotary tillers for cultivating gardens. A backhoe is a very practical optional attachment mounted on the rear of the tractor, capable of handling various digging and trenching jobs.
