In addition, loaders can also perform operations such as pushing and hauling soil, grading ground surfaces, and towing other machinery. Due to their advantages of fast operation speed, high efficiency, good maneuverability, and easy handling, loaders have become one of the main types of machinery for earth and rock construction in engineering projects. When purchasing a loader, how should one make the right choice? Generally speaking, the following four principles should be followed: 1. Model selection: This is mainly determined based on the working environment and application. In quarries and on soft ground, crawler loaders are typically preferred. 2. Power selection: Diesel engines designed for construction machinery are generally used. In special regions, such as areas with an altitude above 3,000 meters, special high-altitude diesel engines should be adopted. 3. Transmission type selection: Hydraulic-mechanical transmission is generally chosen. A key component in this is the selection of the torque converter type. Currently, loaders produced in China mostly use dual-turbine, single-stage, two-phase hydraulic torque converters. 4. Braking system considerations: When selecting a loader, full consideration should also be given to its braking performance, including service braking, parking braking, and emergency braking. Brakes come in three types: shoe-type, caliper disc-type, and wet multi-disc type. The brake actuation mechanism generally uses a booster device, with power sources including compressed air, air-over-hydraulic, and hydraulic types. Currently, the air-over-hydraulic braking system is commonly used, and a dual-circuit braking system is generally adopted to enhance driving safety.
