What is the function of a forklift solenoid valve? Forklift solenoid valves are mainly installed on the gearbox (transmission) of a forklift. The solenoid valve has a closed cavity with through holes and partition grooves at different positions. Each hole leads to a different control passage; in the middle of the cavity is the valve, and on the outer circumference is the electromagnet. When the magnet coil is energized, the valve body is attracted forward and backward to operate, blocking or exposing different oil discharge holes by controlling the movement of the valve body. It is generally divided into two types: normally open and normally closed. In this way, hydraulic oil enters different oil discharge pipes, and then the oil pressure pushes the cylinder piston, the piston drives the piston rod, and the piston rod drives the mechanical device to act. Thus, by controlling the current of the electromagnet, the forklift's forward, reverse, and neutral stop can be controlled. Precautions for installing forklift solenoid valves 1. During installation, note that the arrow on the valve body should be consistent with the medium flow direction, and the forklift solenoid valve should be installed vertically downward. 2. The forklift solenoid valve should be guaranteed to work normally within a fluctuation range of ±10%~±15% of the rated voltage. 3. Before installing the forklift solenoid valve, the pipeline should be thoroughly cleaned, the introduced medium should be free of impurities, and a filter or filter screen should be installed or replaced before the valve. 4. During installation, be sure to install the small O-ring on the forklift solenoid valve in place, and then tighten the screws of the forklift solenoid valve. 5. After the forklift solenoid valve is installed, it must be energized several times for testing, and only after confirming that there is no oil leakage can it be officially put into use.
