Regular Maintenance of Rough Terrain Forklifts

1. Check the oil level near the top of the fuel tank (oil tank). For a new off-road forklift or diesel engine, after refueling, run it at low speed for 5–10 minutes before measuring the oil level. 2. Check the water in the radiator tank. 3. Check the oil level in the fuel injection pump; if insufficient, add oil to the specified level. 4. Eliminate the three types of leaks (oil, water, and air). 5. Check the tightness of all components and attachments. 6. Check the cleaning condition, remove oil stains and dust, and pay special attention to keeping electrical equipment dry and clean. 7. After 50 hours of light-load operation, a new machine should promptly undergo its first maintenance: replace the oil in the fuel injection pump, clean the oil filter assembly, and clean the oil sump and filter. 8. Add daily lubricating oil (additives) in a timely manner.
